The Perimeter Fence⦠new EP skirts the soft edges.
The abuse of power cast its complacent shadow… there was nowhere to go but cross the line.
Resold the plunder of fiction we escape to dark peripheries searching for consolation prizes⦠but the fringe is where the real heart is.
So the new BANDITO FOLK EP is in the can and shackled to the belt. Production all underway for a fast approaching early NOV release date.
It was recorded at Hunting Grounds, Gasworks and Electric Monk studios in Brisbane and includes strings courtesy of Nonsemble. All was then mixed by Tim Whitten in Sydney. This one is full of bloody killers and soft rockinâ mayhem… come out of the shadows and make a run for it!

BANDITO FOLK crossed grand embankmentsâ¦
“Another great record out of the Brisbane underground, and one that knocks most of the things we hear in the commercial mainstream for six. This is a perfectly formed pop-rock four tracker that serves as a tasty introduction for a band led by chief songwriter Josh Tuck, whose winsome melodies and deft lyrical touch mark Bandito Folk as one of the best of a huge wave of new local bands. Fans of, say, Jeff Buckley or The Middle East, be prepared to hear something special.â 4/5 COURIER MAIL: Noel Mengel
