Over the last 2 years Ben collected many lyrical ideas in a strange kind of therapy that reflects his discomfort with the current Government, state of the environment, and our place as human beings in this world. Gathering up these sketches he retreated to a studio to the West of Brisbane City called Wild Mountain Sound. Over a time frame of 3 days with the assistance of Jamie Trevaskis, Ben tracked 11 songs straight to 2 inch tape without the use of a computer. No mobile phone could gain reception and a complete focus of attention was achieved. Cut off from the world, Goodbye Machine came to life. We hope you enjoy listening\u0085<\/p>\n
To coincide with this release BEN will embark on a varied selection of solo shows including some with friend DAN KELLY on his upcoming tour for his new album Lesiure Panic.
\nAnd with Ben\u0092s recent relocation back to Brisbane there will also be some special shows there in early October – one with Jaakko Eino Kalevi from Finland and Seja, and the other a co-curated Nebraska Tribute at the Brisbane Junk bar.<\/p>\n
